Michael Meacher
Michael Meacher (4 November 1939 – 21 October 2015) was a British academic and Labour Party politician, a close ally of Jeremy Corbyn and darling of the socialist wing of the Labour Party. He was also a homophobic bigot who felt homophobia was an acceptable tool to use against the opposition while paying lip service to supporting his fellow Labour activists if they were gay. He will not be missed.
